Lisa Edelstein has been an American actress for over twenty years. She is most well-known for her performance in House on Fox. Her family was from Wayne where she was a part of a traditional Jewish tradition. As a teenager, 18 she moved into New York City to study at the Tisch School of the Arts. She soon became part of New York's club scene and started making headlines. The press also took notice of her. Then she used her experience and fame to write and compose the musical Positive Me and was also in it. Shortly thereafter she landed the job of MTV and was the host of Awake on the Wild Side. When Awake on the Wild Side was no longer running, she started acting in films and on television, initially in brief roles. Gradually, her career as an actress increased.
